"Calypso's Cove" is a delightful 5 bedroom, 3 bath home, located just steps from the Intracoastal Waterway!

With its popular inverted floor plan, this tastefully designed home is comfortably furnished and stylishly decorated with Inspirations of the Sea! Your family will love the spacious living room/dining room/kitchen combo, with beautiful hardwood floors and modern lighting, with enough room for the entire family to gather together while making sweet memories! The cook in your family will love preparing gourmet meals in the well stocked kitchen, complete with updated cabinets, counter tops and stainless steel appliances.

Accommodating up to 11 guests, Bedroom #1 is located on the first level, and is complete with a Day bed, TV, and shares the full hall bath (tub/shower combo) with bedroom #3 and #4. Bedroom #2 is located on the first level, and is complete with a King bed, and has a private full (shower/tub combo) bathroom. Bedroom #3 is located on the first level, and is complete with a Full bed, and shares the full hall bath (tub/shower combo) with bedroom #1 and #4. Bedroom #4 is located on the first level, and is complete with a Twin bunk bed, and a Twin bed, and shares the full hall bath (tub/shower combo) with bedroom #1 and #3. Bedroom #5 is located on the 2nd level, and is complete with a Full bed, and shares the full hall bath (walk-in shower) with the common areas.

Take a nice stroll around the neighborhood, or walk to one of the island restaurants for lunch or dinner. Overall the house was good, but as others have mentioned, the listing inaccurately describes the bedrooms. Bedrooms 1 and 5 are not really bedrooms. They seem to be converted decks. They are very small and have no closets. Bedroom 5 is listed as a queen. We even emailed to confirm it is a queen. Upon arrival, it is obviously not. Also, various things in the house were broken (rocking chair, blinds, tiles). We contacted the management company asking for a working vacuum. They said they would bring one, but they did not. With better upkeep and an accurate listing of bedrooms 1 and 5, the house would be good. It is at a convenient location for beach access.

Nice, but some surprises

Wonderful location, nice house - especially the large, open living/dining/kitchen area. Bedrooms are smaller than expected, and two of them are in spaces that were evidently designed for an entrance and a sun room. Kitchen is adequately stocked, but more for eating than for cooking! Communication was limited, some information was incorrect online and by phone, and I would have appreciated a written check-out list posted in the house. All in all, we would stay again, but our "beach feeling" was delayed a day or so by the adaptation to things we had not expected.

This is a 4-bedroom house

The house was mostly fine but it is listed as a 5-bedroom, which includes the main entrance to the house as a bedroom. It didn't even have a light or ventilation in it. Also the house did not have a functional vacuum. Very nice top level though, with a large kitchen table and a bar.

Enjoyable Stay for a small group

My wife and I came to stay here with our baby and my parents for the week of July 4th. We liked the location even though the pictures make it seem like there was public access to a pier overlooking the sound nearby, even though this was not the case. Otherwise the local food was great from both Castaways, Mermaids Island Grille, and Beaches and Cream for dessert. The home was clean. I only wish the rental company who rented the home would have provided toilet paper in the home. Maybe I don't rent often and am unaware of the normal tendencies with rental companies but having to buy your own toilet paper seemed a little bit much to ask of the renter in our opinion. Great stay and maybe will stay around the area next year again.

Fall Break Getaway

We absolutely love Holden Beach and this long weekend did not disappoint! The house was lovely! A perfect floor plan for our family of 5 and our little pup with great beach access just a couple blocks away! And a fully stocked kitchen with all the necessities including an ice maker to fill the cooler and a wine fridge! There were games and activities for the kids so everyone was happy. The electronic deadbolt was a little challenging to get open and we only got a full sheet set instead of the queen needed, but pretty minor complaints, fully offset by the charm and cleanliness of the house and it’s phenomenal location!
