“This home is beautifully decorated with lots of amenities. The living area is spacious, kitchen is well-stocked with two types of coffee makers, blender, crockpot, and everything we needed to cook for our family. Kitchen towels, bath towels, beach towels and bed linens were provided and beds were already made up for us. Such a nice touch! There was a closet with lots of games and books and even a drawer with flashlights for beach walks. The pool area was wonderful with plenty of chairs....

“This is a beautiful home on the 2nd row of Holden Beach. All of the bedrooms are fully equipped with comfortable beds and TV’s to enjoy as you fall asleep. The two living room spaces were perfect for our family to enjoy. The pool out back, along with the amazing Tiki Bar, brought hours of fun to our group. The property owner, Shea, is incredibly responsive and provided all details before our trip. If you want a relaxing beach home to spend quality time with your family, this is the one!”

“This is our second stay at the Purple Porpoise and our family of 10 had a great vacation both times.Things we loved: Location, view, marsh, house design and outside spaces. Suggestions: Extra towels, fridge way too small for 10 people and ice maker was anemic and fridge took a long time to cool back down after loading it. A large salad bowl and some regular cookie sheets would be nice. Sharpen knives. One broken beach chair and a lounge chair by the pool needs replacing. None of these,...

“We stayed here for the 4th of July and we enjoyed this house so much that we secured it for next 4th of July before we left. Check in was easy. I had a few questions when we first arrived and response time was quick from the homeowner. We had 2 boats and 2 kayaks and they all fit. We just secured the boats beside one another without blocking the canal for other boaters. Location was perfect! Public beach access was almost right off this street.
