“Our stay in this, a former monastery, was just what we needed for our fifteen day stay. The apartment was pristine. It was very spacious, tastefully decorated and fully equipped-such a large space makes you feel right at home. The apartment looks exactly as in the photos. It’s located on a quiet street-you’re literally less than a one minute walk from the heart of the Old Town with its many restaurants, ice cream/souvenir shops, mini grocery store, a laundromat and the Duomo. “The apartment has a great location, but that´s where it ends. It was supposed to have wifi included, but we had to pay €35 for the week we stayed there. During a heavy rainfall the electrical wires in the bathroom caught on fire resulting in no power in half the apt. We had the washing machine going which stopped working. “Fregatura/truffa. Il gestore non si è presentato. Non c'è stato modo di contattarlo una volta arrivati lì, peccato che il pernottamento fosse già stato pagato. Così ci siamo ritrovati senza dove dormire, per fortuna Expedia ci ha coperto la prima notte in un albergo. Da sottolineare che neanche Expedia stessa sia riuscita a contattare il gestore, e che al momento non sono ancora stato rimborsato. Esperienza pessima e pessima pubblicità per Lecce. Non mi capacito come questo locale sia ancora...

“We were six people who shared this apartment jus outside the old town of Lecce. Everything was within walking distance (except the football stadium). The apartment was clean and well maintained and offered everything we expected. Maurizio was very welcoming and helpful. Even the two dogs in the neighbour apartment were very friendly. The only little idea for improvement would be to increase the number of glasses, cups, and plates to avoid the dishwasher run twice a day. A coffee machine (brewer)...
