Nicest motel in town
"Second time we have stayed here, off the Main Road, nice King room and great ambience in the bar. It’s obviously hard to find good chefs in regional areas, so won’t be too harsh but our meal was drowned in sauces, not very nice. It’s convenient but I don’t think I’ll eat in the restaurant again."

"Late check in was made very easy.we arrived in the cold to find the room heater had been turned on for us which was lovely.the room was large and very clean,bed comfy and shower was amazing.reception was very friendly for check out.will definately recommend mend and stay again"

"Eight hikers stayed here for four nights, doing day trips out to Gibralter Range (when it wasn't raining!) A bit tricky for bedding, as we had four singles and two couples - easier if we had more couples to share the queen beds in all but one room.All clean and tidy, had good communication with Rhianne ..."

Weekend away with the family
"Awesome weekend enjoying the serenity of the station. We fished, fossicked and relaxed by the creeks. Feed the ducks and chickens and generally chilled out. Great weekend. Will be back.Rob and family"
