“Well-appointed cabin. Every day made us love it more! Great hosts! The cypress and pine ceilings in the cabin are stunning!!! The great room is perfect for relaxing and getting all the mountain cabin "feels"! During the summer, the foliage blocks the mountain views, but we didn't mind as we felt tucked away in nature and had privacy. Very close to downtown Black Mountain and Montreat. Fabulous location! The king bed and twin beds were very comfortable for adults. Didn't try the queen bed....

“This shouldn’t reflect at all on the property owners but rather is just a heads up for other travelers: the property is about 15-20 minutes from any non-fast food options, and some of those aren’t open beyond 8pm. Plan accordingly or bring some snacks! Space is very limited if you’re staying beyond a week with another person, it might get cramped. The property itself is really awesome: deceptively secluded with all the charm of a cabin the woods. Owners are very responsive. Enjoyed the stay!”

“Great location and stunning fireworks display from the town for our July 4th stay. Hiking, Asheville, and other nearby towns were all easily accessible. The views were fantastic and host was very responsive and kind.”

“Beautiful home nestled in the mountains with fantastic views! Our family of 9 (6 adults, 3 children and dogs) spent the week here and it had plenty of room! Clean and well-maintained; one of a very few rentals where my husband hasn’t had to repair something during our stay. Communication with the host was a breeze. An unexpected plus was seeing two July 4 fireworks shows in the valley below from the huge deck! We would stay here again ”

“The looking glass cabin is small but effective and quaint. It had most things needed The grounds were clean and being next to the river was great. The check in process and communication was horrible It took hours wandering around property and 20 phone calls and texts to find our cabin They never texted us the code or cabin assignment at check in time When they finally returned communication, they made us feel as if we were in the wrong with no apology whatsoever. It’s a shame...

“We love this place! We have stayed here twice now, once at The Roost and this time at the Shroom With A View, and each cabin offers something different but wonderful. We're already talking about which one to stay at next. If you're a birder, the Shroom cabin sits right on the edge of a clearing and I had a lot of great warblers giving me great views from the deck. We also had a chipmunk come to visit and saw a mama bear with 2 cubs on the drive up! Nature lovers will absolutely LOVE this place....
