“Exactly what I was looking for and even better than described. ”

“This property is very accurate from the photos, had a very easy check in process, and was very warm (which is crucial for this last stretch of winter). The living room was a cozy spot to watch some of our favorite movies, as well as a nice kitchen to drink coffee in and talk about the day. As for the bedroom, the bed was comfy and the heater was our best friend, as it never failed to make us warm after we ventured out into the foggy Bar Harbor area. “This was a small room. Fine for one person, but could be a nuisance for a pair if they have significant luggage. The shower is cramped. Easy to get in. I didn't initially realize there were more supplies in the office downstairs (soap, creamer, etc.). There is also a general store & gas less than a mile to the west. The location is a bit further from both Acadia and Bar Harbor than most options, but not significantly so where you'd have to really plan for extra time to get anywhere. The nearby...

“The property was not what I initially expected, but in a good way. Its not a hotel. these are individual "suites" that open up to the back deck, or to the front. The suites are quite large, which was very nice for my family. Huge bathroom, and a large comfortable foldout couch. Window fans are provided, which enabled us to enjoy the cool fresh air from Stonington! The back deck is huge, tons of room to relax and take in the harbor.
