“Quietside Cottage was in a great location, just a short walk to Southwest Harbor (shops and restaurants). The home was fine (sunporch great), but needs some maintenance to make it great. Communication with the manager was very good and their digital guide best I have seen.”

“We had a great stay here! It was quiet, clean, and private, while still being convenient to Acadia National Park. We loved staying on the western side of the island. The host, Becky, was fantastic. She made us feel welcome and went the extra mile when our late arrival meant we got there after the grocery and convenience stores closed. If you’re traveling with children, this house is especially a gem. There were toys and books for kids of all ages. If we come back to Acadia, we’d definitely stay...

“We LOVED this property!! It is perfectly situated location wise for anything that you want to do in the Acadia and Bar Harbor area. The property was very clean and adorable. So many nice extra touches like the coffee bar and the snacks! There is a great amount of land to walk the dogs on (just not fenced). It seemed like an incredibly safe area, even walking at night. Loved looking through the guest book for ideas from other guests. TV easy to log into your streaming services and automatically...

There is nothing nearby - no restaurants or shops -- but the deck on the top floor looking out to the woods is relaxing and the great room very much so as well. But if what you want is the bustle and vibrancy of Bar Harbor, or even the quieter stroll through Southwest Harbor, this place is far from that.”
