The house and the location were great. kitchen was well equipped (although the old style replica stove was a little challenging for a Thanksgiving dinner - but we made it work). Small details such as spices and Tupperware and aluminum foil made for a nice touch. Would definitely stay again.”

“The house is so much more spacious than it appears. Kitchen is a great size with abundant seating. Views are spectacular, people we met in the area were extremely friendly. We didn't stay in the summer, but this is definitely a perfect kayak base camp. Will definitely consider coming back in the summertime for just that.”

The beds were super comfortable and it was very restful to sleep with the windows open and hear the birds chirping. The description is a little over the top with the 'sprawling back yard' and 'two-level patio' and 'sandy beach' - the yard and outdoor space are fine, if a little worse for wear. The property's beach is rocks, which again is fine, and you can walk down the beach...

Great recommendations from the hosts for restaurants and hiking in the area. We loved the move theater - and had a great night going to the drive-in movies a few miles down the road! “This is a beautiful house in a idylic location. Our three couples had a comfortable, enjoyable stay - stunning sunsets, water access and nearby bike trails. We should take off points for the manager, but were so impressed with both the home and the location, it would not be fair the owners to present anything less than five stars. “We stayed at this house with our married children and our grandchildren. Bev was always available to answer questions when I had them and very friendly. We had PLENTY of room for all of us. It had everything we could have needed and more. We cook alot and the kitchen has anything you could possibly need. We loved taking our kayaks out off the shore.
