“Vattenhål vid restaurangen ger möjlighet att se vissa djur på nära håll. Undvik selfdrive vi såg lite djur men stor risk att repa bilen vid de taggiga buskagen. Anlita en Rangertur. Finns ingen ström så ta med ficklampa. Ha även med något eget ät- drickbart.”

“Frukosten var underbar, nybakade scones, havregrynsgröt mm. Det fanns inga utemöbler på uteplatsen och inte vid poolen, så vi kunde inte relaxa. Skyltningen till lodgen var jättedålig.”

“Difficult road up. takes 1,5 h for 15 km but well worth it. What a view. We had a great room with own bathroom, hot and cold water. Great community project. Possibility of grilling and making own food. We loved the beauty and simplicity and would come back even though the road up is difficult. Just drive slowly and give yourself time. We had a smaller 2wd.”

“One of a kind place! Absolutely stunning environment and views, comfortable and original room (we had the Aloe room), amazing nature all around, super helpful staff, beautifully cared for. Really you have to go there to understand. We went at a quiet time when we were the only guests which only added to the calmness and beauty. “You guys let us booked online & when we arrive at the venue, the hotel was closed due to the impact of Covid19 Pandemic. We had to look for another option during that night of our stay. So it was unfortunate that we didnot sleep at that hotel.”

“They claimed NOT to have the booking for which I had prepaid. I had to pay again on the spot or have nowhere to stay. The breakfast wasn't ready and the service so poor that the next day we skipped it completely. The TV didn't work. Overall I will never book this venue again.”

“We went to Eswatini for a Hawane dam fishing trip. Hawane resort was a excellent place to stay , with friendly staff. Unfortunately Hawane dam access is now controlled by Malaloja game reserve and even with a fishing license obtained by Malaloja, we found it extremely difficult to enter the dam premises. It is also extremely sad to see and hear that they allow nets in Hawane dam. We caught this carp, removed pieces of net from it, and released him.”

“Terrible place should be closed down, put off by reception toilets, so dirty you couldn’t comprehend why the place was still operational, absolutely dirty dirty toilets, front desk staff were super duper helpful, place should be cleaned up or start afresh, go there at your own risk ”
