“Lovely property with character, well appointed, cosy, perfect for pets with secure back yard. Bakery goods and a handwritten note were a nice touch. The girls swam at Burrill Lake inlet most days with the dog, the boys surfed at Burrill beach, just a short walk away, perfect! Communication with Kevin was excellent, he couldn’t do enough to help, including a late check out which meant we could go for one last swim. Highly recommend!”

“The house is nicely laid out with tasteful pictures on the walls. Well appointed with nice products - hand wash, body wash etc. Kitchen is reasonably well stocked. Good use of small space. It would be nice if there were some clothes storage space in the bunk room. Beach is beautiful and only a short walk away. I suggest you take most of your meals at the house.”

“The property is very peaceful with stunning views of the green pastures and majestic mountains. Situated on a dead end road, so no traffic or road noise. Lovely walks down the road in a rural area. The house is lovely, only complaint would be the lack of aircon or fan in the bedroom, so can get a bit hot in summer.”

“I just wanted to say what a beautiful place, even Mr echidna made a surprise visit. We had a wonderful time at the property, it has a beautiful view, the house was amazing and we totally loved it, did not want to leave. “The place took me back to younger years as a teenager, when my parents would rent a house near the beach. The renovations were great. Fully stocked with everything you needed. Thanks for all the spices! Love the sofas, and you had throws. The furnishing was amazing. The beach was so nice. I would definitely recommend highly and come back again.”

“Overall, an okay little house. As other reviews state, both mattresses should be replaced. One is cheap and you feel the springs clearly, and the other is long in the tooth. Fridge had been replaced, but the old one bizarrely left on the deck next to the front door (!?). BBQ dirty on arrival. Didn't use it because of that. You get what you pay for with this one. Bird droppings all over the deck.”
