Don’t stay here. It’s not worth the savings. The property is not what it looks like in the images and is badly worn out.
Our room had tiles missing in the bathroom, no bathroom ventilation, mould stains, an almost-hole in the ceiling above the shower, a window that didn’t latch, broken glass behind the toilet, cracks/soft spots in the floor, no electric kettle, a sad stained couch, a poorly draining sink, and insufficient crockery/cutlery. The Wifi was terrible and dropped out every 30 seconds. And it smelt like smoke after the person before us must have smoked in the room. Thankfully the beds were comfy and sheets were clean. If all you need is a bed for a night and running water, it might be okay. But if you want to feel comfortable and safe, don’t stay here. It shouldn’t even be operating. We were “upgraded” to our room because the other one was being renovated, and while we were told about the “problem” of tiles missing, we weren’t told about the disgusting bathroom ceiling above the shower, or any other issues.
Location is really good near Kings Cross station and in a seemingly nice part of town. But again, not worth it.
