“This was the perfect getaway to truly disconnect from civilization for a while. A truly unique experience. The house is perfectly located on the waterfront with a view of the water in the mountains, with whales and seals swimming past. Our host took great care of us, including picking us up at the dock. There are some good local hiking, just watch out for the bears. Food and groceries are available, though limited. Everything is walkable, and there is beauty all around.”

“The place was clean and just the right size for my husband and I for our week's stay in Sitka. We were close to everything and enjoyed walking to restaurants, the bay, and relatives in the area. Tess responded quickly to any of our questions.”

“This is a great property for the price. Location in town was excellent and the Property Manager was very helpful. The fireplace was not working at the time, however there was a heating system which worked fine. The car rental location was next door, which was convenient, and you can’t beat the beautiful mountain view. Looking forward to our next visit to Haines.”

“This property was clean, well equipped, close to everything! The bikes were a plus to have to get around. Communications with Randa were great while we were there and while setting up our stay. The bed was comfortable, kitchen worked out well for cooking, laundry facilities too! Enjoyed Netflix and the provided movies. We would rent from Randa again!”
