“An old friend and I stayed at the Cabin to catch up and go fishing over a long weekend. We loved the cabin, which is very spacious, comfortable and well-equipped. The owner Kimberly stopped by when she saw us outside to make sure we were OK and gave us a fun bit of history on the area and cabin as well as answering questions we had. The place has it all, kayaks, a new gas barbeque grill, comfortable beds and sofas and a good kitchen (a lot more than you'd expect from a "cabin"). I'd stay again...

“We had a great getaway for three days. The pictures and description don’t do the place justice. A great cabin to relax and reconnect. Just sitting on the rocking chairs on the porch with a coffee, a canoe trip on the river and sitting by the fire place was everything we needed. Skip was a great host and responded right away, making sure we had everything we needed. Would recommend anytime - 4x4 is recommended when rainy :-) Thank you for a great stay!”

“We were a family of five who wanted to stay in the historical district close to restaurants and acticivities. We had a wonderful stay and the apartment was spacious. It was well equipped with a kitchen, washing machine etc which was great for us travellibg with children. We can definitaly recommend this stay to others. The only minor complaint is that it is quite noisy from the hallway and from the outside. For us ut wasnt an issue, but if you want something very quiet, this place night not be...

I was not aware that stairs were the only option to the 2nd floor, which was more of a challenge taking up suitcases. All and all it was a great find at a great price! ”
