“This was exactly what I was looking for. A few nights of campfire cooking - the quiet of the woods - a comfortable bed - What more could you want? Becca outdid every VRBO host with a welcoming attitude, coffee and pastries (and fresh eggs!) in the mornings - she even did my dishes so I wouldn’t have to spend my vacation time cleaning. Just a lovely stay for anyone looking for an unplugged, quiet weekend - camping but with a bed, a roof, and a helpful host. I definitely intend to be back soon. ”

“Excellent place to stay to explore the eastern portion of the Shawnee National Forest. We used it as a launching point to see the Garden of the Gods, Cave in Rock, and Dixon Springs State Park. Wish we had another day to do more exploring. The cabin is secluded, so stock up on groceries and charcoal for the grill before you arrive. “First trip to Shawnee for our anniversary and we chose this cabin because of it’s location and were very pleased. Super close to garden of the gods which is great.
