“Nice and clean, I felt very secure knowing I have to use a badge just to get in the building. The continental breakfast was great! Ice machines available nearby. Even though the casino is connected limited hours even though I was told that it was recently purchased. As far as the casino I didn't sit and gamble. Even though I'm a former smoker there is a sign stating no cigar or pipe tobacco but I did see 4 people smoking cigarettes”

“Upon entering my room, there was a mildew locker room odor and I went back to the lobby to ask for a new room and the staff was very flexible and accommodating to put me in a new room which smelled much cleaner.”

“We stayed for 5 days, 6 nights, on a trip to visit family in the area. Our room was clean, and the towels were a good size and fluffy. The hot tub was out of service, but we enjoyed the pool daily. A nice variety of food for breakfast, including biscuits and gravy, sausage, and eggs. Pet friendly, there were several guests with dogs, with a good amount of grassy areas and safe walking paths. “The room was clean and staff was nice but would like to warn parents who’s children like to swim to be aware of the over usage of chemicals in the pool!! Both of my boys had a terrible runny nose and cough for at least 3 days after swimming!! Also the pool area wasn’t very clean and towels were not readily available to dry off after swimming.. the price isn’t really worth it”

“The food was wonderful and very fresh! The beds were very comfortable! Each room is thermostatically controlled and has its own charm. The floors and stairs are creaky but adds to the charm of an old home. Laurie is such a great host! We enjoyed her company very much! She made our stay so nice! We would definitely stay there again!”
