“Checked in and sent to a room that hadn't yet been cleaned. Went back to down to desk and waited in line for a long time to get a new room because there was only one staff member there handling all check ins by herself. The elevator near our room was out of order, leaving just one functioning elevator and more waiting. The fire alarm went off right after we finally got to our new room. The hotel looks new and very nice and the room was comfortable. The one staff member was kind and apologetic....
“Vert cool and unique stay! Loved the history and staff was friendly. My only complaint was worrying about a $50 fee you pay if you “check out at 11:01 “. Checkout is 11:00. I did not appreciate having a stress after enjoying a night out not to mention a very expensive hotel room already.”
“Reserved a king size room/matress but when I arrived to check in, was told only double room was available and I would not be charged an up charge for the room. WHAT??? I didn’t get the room I reserved and they were acting like they were doing me a favor. I then asked why I couldn’t get the room I reserved, and was told something terrible had happened in that room. After the first night the sheets came off the bed, as they were ill fitting cheap sheets, and I discovered there was no mattress...
