“As this is a self check-in it would be most helpful to have a three-ring binder listed with items such as “how to” use the peat stove, turn on the hot water, turn on the heat, identify the wifi code. There is a binder filled with bar and restaurant info but what I recommend is different. I did email the host about the wifi code and he let me know it is posted near the TV. “Cannot say enough good things about this little cottage. It’s excellently located to all the best attractions in Kerry, and it’s perfectly situated in the country but close enough to Castleisland to make getting groceries and going to the local pub easy. The caretaker, Timmy, built a fire for us twice and a local man gave my Dad an autographed book of his own poetry. Absolutely perfect accommodation for a family trip.”

“This is a beautiful property out in the country surrounded by green hills, the ocean in the distance and many cows grazing in the fields. I find grazing cattle to add to the feing ofp1eace and contentment. The house itself is beautiful with lots of room for five people, (enough beds, two sitting rooms so two TV's, a well equiped kitchen, three bathrooms) plus a lo ely yard with outdoor seating. Would go back in a heartbeat. ”

“We really enjoyed our three night stay at the Brown Hen. Gwyneth is very quick to respond to communication and is a seasoned host! Linens were crisp and clean, beds were comfy for all of us and lots of space to hang out and settle in.
