“The hotel was cute and clean and close to the areas of interest. It was on the water but website and photos were misleading. The view out the balcony is not of boats in the harbor but rock and sand piles and large equipment moving them in a county maintenance yard. Also the room was somewhat noisy. You could easily hear voices and other outside noise as well as room to room and hallway noise. The only thing that saved us was the sound machine in the room. 1. There is no lake view from any of the rooms.
2. Our room had no shower curtain when we arrived, notified staff that they could have access all day, bc we were out. Got back at 4:00, Staff offered to give us the shower curtain and and was huffed bc we walked away.
3.No spa, no steam room. Massage was 2 chairs sitting in the lobby, that were pay by the minute, but you had to wait for the staff to get out of them.

“The staff were extremely helpful, the food delicious, and the grounds and amenities were first-rate. Like many Victorian-era buildings, this one shows a little wear on the exterior. Other than that, a delightful stay.”
