“My room was not clean with stains on the bedsheets and elsewhere around the room. After inspecting the sheets and mattress covers, I strongly suspected bedbugs. The room was also dark, with no overhead light. I told the front desk that I would not be able to stay in the room. He asked if I wanted a new room, or a refund. I told him a refund, and that I would find a new hotel. However, the manager is now refusing to authorize a refund. Terrible”
“While it appeared that the upper floors have some really cool rooms, the room on the 1st floor that we were given was terrible; no window, no separate thermostat for room temperature (we froze all night as there were no blankets on the bed - just a sheet and bed cover, and no extra blankets on the room!). The wall k in shower was for wheel chairs (even though we didn’t request it and it was not disclosed) so the water drained all over the bathroom floor and we had no choice be to use one of only...
