“We we were happy about this staying. Clean and fresh, big room and nice location for that price that we paid. Free Parking just outside the rooms which was nice. Nice to have an pretty private outdoorspace attached to the room. Friendly staff and nice to have access to the room by an code and not keys, which Made it easier when we were two and didn’t had to think about that. ”

“Fantastic accommodation deep in the world’s oldest rainforest. 7 secluded cabins reached by boardwalks. Bathroom with a glass wall facing the forest. Comfortable, well kept rooms. Restaurant serving breakfast and dinner, nice food. Very nice staff. Cassowaries and feral pigs in the immediate vicinity. Frogs and toads croaking through the night. A truly magical place to be!”

“I stayed 3 night (week days). The reception was open only between 8 am - 5 pm. Luckily, I arrived before the staff had left so I had no problem to get my keys. When I asked the staff how to lower the temperature on the aircondition, they had no idea (but I managed to solved that issue myself). “I didn’t realise how central it is to everything - the beach, yoga, shops, cafes, restaurants, mariner. I felt safe, loved the room and the gorgeous wildlife that I could see everyday and night from my balcony. Staff were friendly and helpful, and the pool and shared BBQ area was perfectly positioned for sun and shade. “En fantastisk miljö på detta boende. Tyst och skönt och man hör bara alla ljud från regnskogen. Vi satt ofta med öppna altandörrar, i fotöljerna, och bara njöt. Rummen var trevliga och rymliga och hade det mesta som behövdes. Det som saknas mest på Hotellet är engagerad och gästvänlig personal. Personalen är inte intrsserad av gästerna och bjuder inte på något exra i sitt bemötande. Vi bodde här i 4 nätter och hade samma upplevelse hela tiden. “We had a great stay. George the owner is very proud of his property and showed us all around his gardens. The rooms were spacious, clean and modern. Very convenient to Daintree Discovery Center. All damage from the December 2023 “extreme rain event” have been repaired. Don’t hesitate to book. You can have breakfast and dinner at the hotel cafe. Otherwise, there are very limited restaurant options, and no markets nearby, so stock up before you get on the ferry, either at Mossman or Port Douglas....
