“We enjoyed our stay at this property and it was clean, well equipped with all the modern conveniences, and provided a nice alternative to a hotel. It was a good fit for us with our small dog and was a short drive to the places we wanted to visit. We were there for a long weekend and it is along a busy street so the only drawback was the traffic noise during the day.”

The kids loved their room with twin beds and many games and toys. There was a seat for the baby and a pack and play, as well.Everyone enjoyed having breakfast on the back deck. “Wife and I and my crew chief stayed here overnight when I raced at nearby Shenandoah Speedway. The cottage is very clean and well appointed. When the only real complaint was no sugar for the coffee, when there was cream, you know it's OK. The towels were nice and fluffy and the cottage smelled clean, not like recent disinfectant. Hot water comes on quickly and the adjustable shower head worked well with no clogs. Only real issue was that our mattress was too soft for us. But my crew chief said...

“The house was very charming and cozy. It met all of our wants (2 bedrooms, king bed in primary, fenced in yard for dog, hot tub & fire pit, close to attractions). The host was very polite and attentive, and gave excellent recommendations for food (which were all in walking distance!). Could use a little more seating in the living room and a few more items in the kitchen (wine glasses, better skillets, sheet pans), but overall the house really has everything you need.
