Great Lakefront Home, Steel Lake, Home Sweet Home

Kom och upplev en lyxig vistelse på ett vackert lakefronthem med egen strand och brygga. Sjön
är färsk, klar och ren med massor av fisk för fiskeaktiviteter på din egen privata brygga. Simning
är också en av favoritaktiviteterna när du bor i huset. En 3-personpaddling båt tillhandahålls gratis för din njutning. Huset ligger inom gångavstånd till en vacker, grön och välskött park med badplats och stor lekplats för barnen.
Du hittar två sovrum, ett privat badrum med ett rymligt kök, komplett med matsal och vardagsrum, båda med utsikt över sjön. EN
privat tvättstuga med stor tvättmaskin och torktumlare. Vardagsrummet är
inredda med 2 konfigurerbara soffor. Gå ut i vardagsrummet till ett stort däck för att njuta av den friska brisen och utsikten över sjön. Utomhusgasgrill finns för grill och matlagning. Det finns en eldstad på privat strand
för en bålkväll med vänner, familj eller affärspartners.
För fritidsresenärer är vi i hjärtat av staden med oändliga aktiviteter / attraktioner i eller
närliggande städer; i. e. golf, skidåkning, skridskoåkning, vattenaktiviteter, bergsaktiviteter, stad
aktiviteter, temaparker osv ... Eller så kan du bara sitta i däck eller på bryggan, läsa böcker och
njut av den vackra gröna utsikten och den friska brisen som sjön ger.
För affärsresenärer är vi också mycket nära stora företag som Weyerhaeuser, Boeing,
Alaska Air, etc. Kom och bo som ett varmt och mysigt hem hemifrån när du går på företag.
Vi är bara femton minuter söderut från Sea-Tac flygplats, och 20 minuter från Seattle eller
centrum Tacoma. Nära till många attraktioner, eller avskilt nog för att bara koppla av och njuta av utsikten
och aktiviteter på den fantastiska sjön i några dagar - särskilt den magnifika solnedgången. Mer

We stayed here for a baseball tournament in the area. The listing is accurate and for the price and being on a lake it is perfect. Communication was great and the house had all we needed for the week we were there. You are close to anything you’d need with a bit of tranquility from the lake.

5 Stars – Great Stay for Work or Play!I stayed here with two of my employees while we were in town for training, and it worked out perfectly! The setup was ideal for three adult women—two bedrooms and a bathroom, plus two futons in the living room gave each of us our own space. It was super clean, cozy, and felt really private, even though the area was active with nearby parkgoers.The location is fantastic—just minutes from grocery stores, shopping, and restaurants. There’s even a park across the lake, which makes it feel peaceful and scenic without being too far out.Even though we were there for work, I kept thinking how perfect this spot would be for a family getaway too. Highly recommend it for anyone looking for a comfortable and convenient stay in Federal Way!

Awesome Stay In a Very Good Property

Our overall stay at Kathy’s property went well and had an amazingly time. From evening banter at the Patio while barbecuing to afternoons paddle boating at Steele lake, it was awesome. Nights were fabulously quiet. Kathy was ann awesome host and felt with our every need. Everything in the house was well kept. Will surely book again in the future when we get a chance to be back!

Multiple rules with signs all over the house on what not to do. House was very cold when we arrived, took several hours to get it to a comfortable temp without wearing a jacket. However the owner allowed us in early as our flight in early so maybe she was going to turn on the temp. The furniture was covered with sofa covers that did not fit well and slid all over. The first few dishes we used were very greasy and made us feel gross, we ended up washing ever dish we used before using it. The outside will be beautiful when the weather is nice.

Family vacation

Our overall stay was great. The property was clean (except for the windows) and had everything we needed and is in a great location. The pictures are a bit deceiving, the outside of the property looks nothing like the pictures and could use quite a bit of updating. Kathy was very kind and responsive to all messages.

A lovely respite in the midst of where you want to be…

Spain, California and Arizona is where we 3 arrived from to visit our old stomping grounds. What a delightful stay we enjoyed on Steele Lake. This little hideaway is centrally located to all the beautiful people, places and things we had in mind. Wonderful Host as well. ⭐️ Beautiful views and grounds too🤩

Love Living the Lake Life

The view was wonderful. Breakfast on the deck/time on the dock/use of paddleboat and kayak were great! The house was fully stocked w everything we needed. There is one portable AC unit which kept most of it cool, but was a bit hot in the bedrooms at night. Very helpful ghosts. cool

Peace and Quiet during busy weekend

We picked this property because of the peaceful pictures. We had a stressful weekend ahead and were looking for a little retreat. The views didn't disappoint and the owner was a delight to work with. The property had a few issues but overall worked well for our needs.

A cozy and clean waterfront home

The home was comfortable and had everything we needed for our stay. The location is beautiful and feels private while still being near shopping and entertainment. We were here for a swim meet at the Weyerhaeuser Aquatic Center and the house was a nice short drive away.

When you look for a place to unwind, clear your head and rejuvenate this is the exact place you need to be. The home can be used for both families and individual travellers with is perfect flexibility. Kathy was super friendly and always communicating to ensure I was comfortable during the entire stay. She is such a warm soul and a joy to be around. The place is clean and offers a lot of privacy for those seeking a getaway. There were also some outdoor activity options that one can indulge in. I have definitely found a gem that I can call home for many more visits to come. I would highly recommend it without doubt.

Simply wonderful!

I’ve been fortunate and have done a lot of traveling in the past 20 years. This is an amazing hideaway with lots of parking and easy access to shopping. Plus it’s absolutely as beautiful as the picture I couldn’t be happier. My host was wonderful and checked up on us to make sure things were good. Thank you, Kathy! I hope to stay again soon.

Gemütliches Haus

Nach den Check-in Informationen per Email einige Tage vor der Anreise, waren wir etwas verunsichert über die vielen Anweisungen und Verbote, die sie enthielt. Aber wahrscheinlich beruht es auf schlechten Erfahrungen der Vermieterin. Die Ankunft verlief dann aber völlig unkompliziert und wir haben uns gleich wohlgefühlt. Das Wetter war leider nicht so gut, so haben wir die überdachte Terrasse gut nutzen können. Die Wohnung war sehr sauber, das Bad war etwas klein, hatte aber gute Ablagemöglichkeiten. Die Küche und den Gasgrill auf der Terrasse haben wir gerne genutzt, sowie Waschmaschine und Trockner waren sehr praktisch. Die Matratzen vom großen Bett könnten vielleicht mal erneuert werden, die quietschten und waren sehr weich. Alles in allem war es ein angenehmer Aufenthalt, nicht luxuriös, aber gemütlich. Kleiner Kritikpunkt betrifft die zurückgelassenen Lebensmittel der Vormieter, obwohl das anscheinend jeder anders sieht. Dass Salz, Pfeffer, Olivenöl etc. weiter genutzt werden, finde ich völlig okay. Die vielen angefangenen bzw. fast leeren Flaschen Ketchup, Senf, Honig etc. im Kühlschrank fand ich dagegen nicht gut.

Family Time

I was thrilled to find a location close to my sister’s house. It was a perfect size for the two of us. Making meals didn’t require buying extra of anything because it was so well stocked with ingredients (mustard, olive oil etc.). The view of the lake was just as pictured. This may be my home away for next year when I visit.

cute little getaway

The owner (Kathy) was super responsive when we had any questions. Had almost ever thing we needed for supplies, kitchen, linens and bathroom. It was a great home base for our Seattle/Tacoma Vacation. The only complaints I have is the lake on our side isn't swimmable (very weedy and muddy). However drive 5 minutes or use the provided pedal boat or kayak and get to a nice swim area with a giant playground. The master bed was not very comfortable. The twin beds and the couches were better.
