Overall, I would definitely stay here again if returning to an event at the Tacoma Dome. In warmer weather you can walk from the hotel, although the staff do NOT recommend it. There is not a complete sidewalk the whole way there, and there were a couple homeless camp set ups along the path. (It took about 18 mins each way, but we saved $30 in event parking, and about 1.5 hours easily by not driving.) There were several other people walking too, so we had no issues. Make sure to wear comfortable shoes, and they may get dirty, fyi.
The hotel staff were all great, food in the restaurant was good and the room was better than expected for an older hotel. However, there was definitely hallway noise (even being on the top floor towards the end), and the main door to the room didn't shut/seal completely, so there was light around each side of the door that shined through all night. I also noticed pilling on the sheets which I found odd, and although the mattress was decent, the pillows were not the greatest so I would take my own if I ever go back.
All in all I would recommend, especially if going to an event at Tacoma Dome, as its one of the closest hotels to the venue, and all staff we encountered were great.
