“Very nice, modern hotel with beautiful lobby and pool. Check in was very slow though. Room nice, very comfortable bed. Unfortunately we had no hot water for some time. Took them a while to fix and after that we had no cold water :) Good situated, close to airport, close to town. Service is overall good and cleaning was ok but not excellent. Why? Well… we found hair in one of the towels, one of the body lotions was used. Not a big deal, but normally I haven’t had this many “problems” at a Hilton...

“Stayed for 2 nights pre-cruise. Nice and conveniently located to the port in the center of Papeete. Very clean and new, lovely bathroom and great beds, rooms are large. The pool in the hotel is quite small and there are watercycling-classes for people not staying at the hotel at least 2 times a day, but that seems to be a standard on Tahiti, it was a fact in every place we stayed in. Breakfast and all food/drinks are ridiculously priced, so we did not try it out. There is a gas-station just...

“Pension Pare Lodge was amazing. Very clean and friendly staff. The environment at Pare was serene and relaxing. We loved the pool, the chickens and their antics, and the cute dog. I would highly recommend Pension Pare Lodge. ”

“This is like a hillside garden paradise overlooking Teahupo’o and surrounding ocean. Staff is as accommodating as one can get. They are marvelous. The chef is a young man that cooks excellent meals. The bungalow was immaculately clean and one also feels living in nature. Like high quality glamping but perhaps better. The shampoo and shower gel is divine (Tiare).”

“The bungalow was very nice. The grounds are very nice. A separate communal fully equipped kitchen and dining area but nothing provided. Lovely swimming pool. There is a fridge, but no tea making facilities in unit. The best pizza just down the road we have ever tasted. Pity we did not have more days. This is a great place to chill out and relax.”
