We had a very nice holiday in this house. Everything was well maintained and the hot tub was perfect in the snowy weather. We would absolutely book again.

I liked the house But we had carpenter ants And the hot tub top on one side was like it weight 100 pounds it was as if it was full of water, we couldn’t lift it to remove it. To use whole hot tub.

We had a fun stay at "Little Red." Six long time friends, all over 65 years of age on a mini vacation. Pros.......... The cabin had a very well stocked kitchen. Everything you could possibly need. The bathrooms also had great products for your shower & bath use Cons 1. This place needs a serious cleaning including the shag carpeting. 2. There are area rugs on top of the carpet we had to move as we were tripping on the curled up edges. In one bedroom the rug was too long for the room and they just continued it up against the wall. We folded it up and moved it to eliminate the hazard. 3. The couch is on its LAST legs. It needs to be replaced. The pictures were probably taken 15 years ago. A very uncomfortable living room to watch TV or talk. 4. We had difficulty with the hot tub cover. We could not get it closed one evening and had to leave it open. A serious hazard for children. 5. The curtains are hanging off the clips on about 1/2 the windows. We would have fixed them but they are too high. 6. Bunk bed mattresses are extremely saggy and uncomfortable. All the mattresses need to be replaced. 7. No railing on small decks 8. Needs grab bars in showers. Not ADA ?

The layout of the property was unique with the living room and kitchen on the first floor and the bedrooms below and the lower level. But since it was on a hill, both levels felt like ground floor. All the beds were very comfortable and the temperature of the home was easily modifiable with their Nest thermostat. There were a couple of minor issues during the stay, but the Avant team was very quick to respond and address them. Overall, was a wonderful place to stay for a weekend, and our group felt able to spread out and enjoy the view.

Very beautiful, clean and spacious. Great proximity to town and enough distance to enjoy quiet evenings under the stars. We were fortunate enough to get 5 inches of fresh snow on our final night. We would recommend this location.

Beautiful house, the creek behind the property is worth all the money you paid for your stay, is peaceful, beautifuln the rooms are spacious and beds are really comfortable. The carpet needs to be changed, many stains but, I will still give this property a 5 because is so relaxing and beautiful when you sit on any of the patios and listen to the sound of the creek. You can't beat that.. upstairs gets hot on summer but the bedrooms downstairs are cold and feel fresh.. at night you can fall asleep with the sound of the creek. Do I want to go back, yes.

Spacious cabin backing Alder Creek with a back deck surrounded by aspens and pines. You can hear the creek flowing from the deck making for a wonderful naturescape. One thing to consider is the fact that the cabin doesn't have A/C and with temperatures in the 90's during the summer, but upstairs gets VERY hot. Besides that, it was a wonderful cabin!

5 adults 3 toddlers. Great layout. If your kids aren’t good with stairs make sure you have an option for blocking them off. Otherwise location was great and Truckee was very close along with the resorts.

We loved our rental home and will rent this home again if the opportunity arises. We just provided a few pointers for improvements but that won’t prevent us from returning.
