“Ridge Sierra apart/hotel was exactly as described. It's an apartment operated like a hotel. Located on the back side of Tahoe, it doesn't offer lake views, but the sweeping valley view was impressive.  It was a perfect fit for our group of six and the 11:00 a.m. checkout gave us plenty of time for a leisurely morning and breakfast with our four teens. “The location was great the lake was across the street the hotel was ok but I felt it was geared towards skiing and not enough variety for restaurants mainly hamburgers and pizza. The restaurant Rosie’s is so awesome food was delicious and a big variety to choose from Shopping was great a lot of shops in walking distance”

“Very friendly reception and service. We felt very welcome. Our room was newly renovated. There is nothing but forest around and we knew that so had bought food in the last village before we got there and could heat it in the micro in the room. ”

“This is a low budget hotel - the rooms are tiny and I would not call the pillows and bedspreads clean - there is no air conditioning or tv - it is very rustic - do not stay here if you are looking for a resort - you would stay here because it is close to the beach. You would also stay here because you enjoy the Camp Richardson experience - the WiFi is great - I worked from a picnic table outside!”
