“This place is overpriced, dirty feeling, dark, and staff assistance non existent. No wifi except piggy backing off the casino. The casino is a small and dingy as well. I do not recommend. 40 min from Reno with the fastest way driving back to 80 in Cali - Truckee.”

“The virtual assistance at the front desk was extremely rude - stating she was super busy and will get to help us when she can. Our plug stopped working so microwave and toaster didn’t work. We had no internet thought the storm was over. No priorities and cleaners never came. Basically, it’s a fend do yourself type of place - good luck is anything happens someone will come help you. ”

“Room was clean .Staffs were nice .Breakfast is only with good credits and got members only when you already ended the breakfast then they bill you and tell you.But the hotel says when booked that breakfast is included. All like a trap. casino is very small .overall -not for kids and families. 3/5”

“Loved our stay here. It was very peaceful and the reception staff were very friendly. They were great with communication and instructions. We got to our cottage after hours and it was a smooth check-in with the instructions emailed to us. The cottage is very comfy and spacious.It was about a 10 min drive to everything like downtown Truckee and it said 15/20 min to Palisades Tahoe but felt like less. ”

“The room was super clean,convenient. Had everything needed super close to the lake. Seeing in person was even than online. The staff was super friendly and helpful grocery store literally four minute walk away lovely places to eat. Must try the Italian across the street hot tub fire pit private beach. I can’t say enough about this place. We’ll definitely come back A+++++”

“After booking through Expedia and arriving at the Golden Nugget Lake Tahoe, the front desk agent (don't know her name) put us in a room in the 'Heavenly' tower. The view was great but the room was a disaster. Rickety and damaged old furniture with a bathroom that looked like it was from the 50's with a tub that was full of chips to the surface and damaged, no hooks for towels because they had been ripped out of the wall and patch filled wallpaper. The hotel is going through a top to bottom...
