“Very Comfortable with a well appointed Kitchen. Excellent view of Hood Canal and occasional glimpses of mountains through the fog and clouds. Would recommend visiting the Union Visitor Center for good information about the sites and activities in the area. We enjoyed a few hikes to waterfalls and dinner of Oysters and Dungenese crabs. Preparing meals was easy in the spacious and well appointed kitchen. Perhaps the only drawback was the motorcycles on the road below the cabin and canal. I...

“Our stay at this VRBO was absolutely fantastic! The house was beautifully remodeled and felt incredibly clean and fresh. The kitchen was well-equipped with everything we needed, making it easy to cook and feel right at home. “Everything about the listing was accurate. It is cozy, quiet and peaceful. I could walk up the road towards a dead end with my dogs and also down to Hoodsport from the cabin. There is a bit of noise from the highway up above the property, but really only in front of the house. The babbling creek was what was heard from the house and back area over the creek. “We have stayed at several properties on the hood canal and all agree that this is the one we will return to. The home is vibrantly decorated, accentuating the endless views through the doors and windows, well appointed with everything we needed, and spacious enough to accommodate 6 adults and a small dog. “We had such a lovely stay here! The house was extremely clean and is very well located in the downtown area. It was great to be able to easily walk downtown for coffee for food. The host was also very easy to reach when we had questions. I would highly recommend staying here. We will definitely be returning!”

“This was an awesome spot for my wedding weekend. With kayaks, paddle boards, hot tub and games there was little time for boredom. We used the solarium for getting ready the morning of the wedding and it set a perfect vibe for my day. We had a small water leak the first day under the sink and Dave was quick to head our way and get it fixed. The floors and walls do slope and the doors slam if you let them close on their own but that added character. ”

This house was very clean with modern appliances and comfortable beds. It was centrally located for all of our activities with extended family. The host responded to all my questions quickly. The house was in a nice , quiet neighborhood. I would definitely recommend this property and would stay there again if the need arises.”

“It was awesome. Secluded yet not too far from town and my son who lives in Shelton. It was great to take a walk to the shore which was an adventure walk with blackberries and sweetpeas. The high tide and low tides were an adventure especially as it was full moon. The surprise on the last few days was the view of Mt. Rainer.
