âMy daughter and I stayed in the Orme lodge, it was lovely. Nice and warm, squirrels outside the windows. Hot tub is just a hot tub - not one with bubbles! so don't look for a button to press lol Very peaceful. If you go with kids (i went with teenager) then maybe take a laptop to watch netflix etc on. wifi connection great. My weeks stay was brilliant, Enjoyed the stay but wished there had been clearer communication about some of the dog walks around the area.

âWe stayed at The Ship for a special wedding anniversary. Itâs an exceptional hotel in a wonderful area which has a unique atmosphere. The hotel food is good with a menu that changes over the seasons. The breakfast is very good and there is plenty of choice from pastries and cereals to full English. The rooms are well furnished and comfy and the tea, coffee and biscuits topped up daily.
For bird watchers the estuary is worth a visit and in the room we chose the hotel thoughtfully provided...
âAn enjoyable stay, use of the spa being free as a guest, 2 hour booking having the spa to ourselves was extra special, weather this be the same if hotel was busy, spa pool was quite small would have been quite full.
Staff friendly and courteous. Highly recommend the Coctails, a little pricy, reduce to ÂŁ9 as ÂŁ13 bit steep, we would have had more.!
