“Excellent location in Varenna. Easy to walk around and very spacious for our group of 7 adults plus 1 infant. The home also had everything we needed for our baby. We loved the patio, spacious bathroom, and outdoor area. ”

“The villa is beautiful and the views fromthe property are outstanding. The villa was very clean. We just had a few small scorpions but that is to be expected in that area. Be aware there is no A/C in the two guest bedrooms but if you leave the doors open they will stay cool. The town of Colico about 5 mins away is really cute with wonderful restaurants by the water. The property has a washing machine which was great but no iron so we had to take some clothes to the dry cleaners. Good...

“Ich war mit 5 Freundinnen in dem Haus. Es war ein wunderschöner aber nicht perfekter Urlaub. Leide gab es ein paar Kleinigkeiten die während dem Aufenthalt aufgefallen sind. Jedoch wurde immer sofort und total Netz auf unsere Nachrichten reagiert und sich direkt drum gekümmert. Wir kommen immer wieder gerne. Was man noch beachten muss, man kommt nicht mit dem Auto direkt zum Haus, kann auch nur zwei Straßen entfernt parken. Der Garten und der Pool waren traumhaft.”

Man spürt bei vielen Gelegenheiten, dass es den Besitzern ein wirkliches Anliegen ist, ihren Gästen den Aufenthalt so angenehm wie möglich zu machen. Das gelingt auch bestens: Danke! “My extended family (12 people) spent an amazing week at this property. The property exceeded our expectations considerably, it's absolutely pristine and has amazing views. About a 10 minute walk to Menaggio with lots of charming shops, restaurants etc.Laura helped us arrange private chefs and boat tours, was very responsive and kind. This is an expensive place, but it offers great luxury and beauty. A good value I'd say. My only warning will be that the drive to/from Como is not for the faint of...

PLEASE do yourself a favor and enter the address into Google or Apple Maps and DO NOT rely on the map within the VRBO app. It is wrong. This Villa is up the hill in Perledo and not very accessible walking. We made due but it was certainly not where VRBO leads you to believe it is.”

“Sehr hilfsbereite und freundliche Gastgeber.Alles so positiv, wie von vielen vorherigen Kommentaren kommuniziert. Die Lage mit dem Blick auf den Lago di Como ist herausragend. Oreste besitzt das Restaurant AJO in Domaso, welches wir sehr empfehlen können. Speisen- und Getränkeauswahl waren sehr gut. Der Service als auch die Lage sehr gut. Vielen lieben Dank für die tollen, ruhigen und entspannten 2 Wochen in der Villa VaLuRi. Wir kommen sicher gerne wieder.”

“The Villa was absolutely exceptional! The most incredible views, spotlessly clean and extremely well equipped. We had the most wonderful week and loved the pool and the peaceful location. The outside dining area was fabulous with a panoramic view of the lake and mountains. A car is a must as the Villa is quite a way up the mountain but it is within walking distance of the nearest town at the bottom (around 45 minutes each way) ”

“If you are looking at visiting the Lake Como area with your kids, or other families, I strongly recommend Mandello and Villa Ornella. The layout of the house is great, the size perfect to accommodate 2 or even 3 families and Furio was a great host. It was just me and my wife and our 3 young (and restless) boys and we had a great time. The pool and the living room with the amazing veranda were perfect family entertainment areas. The location is great as well - Mandello is close to everything yet...

" Litet, mysigt och hemtrevligt hotell med skön känsla. Trevlig personal som gjorde allt för att vi skulle trivas. Frukosten är enkel; bröd med enklare pålägg som smör och marmelad, mjölk, yoghurt, flingor, kakor och kex samt frukt och fruktdryck. Utöver det kunde man få varm dryck som kaffe, the eller choklad. Dessutom fanns möjlighet att välja en rätt från en frukostmeny, tex omelett, toast eller ost och skinktallrik. Rummet var alltid städat och klart då vi kom tillbaka efter att ha ätit frukost. Då vi skulle checka ut redan vid 7.00 sista dagen fick vi med oss varsin frukostpåse. "
