From the initial booking to renting golf carts and scheduling excursions, the entire process was seamless and absolutely amazing. Heilyn made our stay incredibly relaxing, providing daily laundry service and keeping the house spotless throughout the week. This was one of the most beautiful, adventure-filled, and relaxing weeks we’ve ever experienced, all in a truly gorgeous home with stunning views of the beach and sunset. Simply the best VRBO we have ever stayed at. Anywhere. The house location was ideal for us: Easy walk to the surfing beach. 5 minutes to town in a golf cart. Perched above the beach, we enjoyed spectacular views of the ocean from the patio, the pool deck and the great room of the house. Our family of 10 fit perfectly in the 4 bedroom configuration. The four grandkids spent much of the day in the pool when they weren’t at the beach. The house is well equipped in the kitchen and throughout. But the game changer were our hosts Kenneth and Julieth who handled every detail and arranged transport to/from the airport, made reservations for golf, the adventure park and answered any questions we had about the house or Tamarindo. The Other game changers were Heilyn the housekeeper and Hugo the grounds and pool guy. They came each day and took care of us so we could enjoy our vacation and not spend it doing dishes and making beds. My wife said it was the most relaxing trip we’ve taken in 50 years. We would return to Casa Fuentes for another stay without question.

Spectacular ocean front home! We stayed for week in June with 4 adults, 5 teenagers. The bedrooms are private and comfortable. The pool and deck are spacious and very nice. It's an easy walk straight down to the beach for sunbathing and watching sunsets. You can get your feet wet here but swimming is not advised due the the rocks and waves. We walked south around the point to Playa Langosta, which is a beautiful stretch of beach with a few local surfers. There is also a path to Tamarindo beach, the beach walk to town is 20 minutes. We had 2 rental cars and a golf cart which worked out great for our excursions and for the kids to ride the cart to town. Our housekeeper Hailyn was very sweet and helpful. She did a LOT of towels and laundry for us, we didn't really expect this so we overpacked. She also cut our fruit every morning, did dished and kept the place looking great. The groundskeeper/handyman Hugo was at the house daily, keeping the pool and grounds clean. We didn't have any significant issues that required us to contact the manager during our stay.We took surf lessons the first day and then rented boards a few times just down the beach and Langosta Beach Club. Tamarindo has nice oceanfront restaurants for dinner. We did an offshore fishing trip from Flamingo Beach, zip-lined, and did a waterfall hike at La Leona. Amazing trip and rental property!

Amazing all around!

The photos of the home don’t even do it justice. It was INCREDIBLE. The hosts were so responsive and the crew kept the home in great condition while we were there. It’s in a great location as well. Booked chef Ander and we are still dreaming about his food! Top notch experience!

Perfect Home on the Beach!

The is home is perfect for couples as it offers privacy and each bedroom has its own outdoor shower. It is right on the beach with great sunsets. Plus out the front door you can access the other side of the point where you can walk into town. A short golf cart into town is also convenient . The concierge team did a great job of organizing and planning airport shuttle, golf carts and anything else we wanted . I would highly recommend!

Spectacular sunsets

The layout of this property is excellent with separated bedroom areas. Outdoor showers are delightful. We loved the pool area. The groundskeeper is a lovely man but was in our space quite often. Power washing the patio while we were trying to enjoy a quiet morning coffee was unpleasant. Our housekeeper was very sweet and accommodating. Overall the property is very comfortable and lives up to the promise of spectacular sunsets.

Beautiful and relaxing property

Casa Fuente is an incredibly special place - the property is comfortable, beautiful and meticulously maintained, and the beach front view and access are a major highlight. Our group of friends on a birthday trip had an amazing time, and especially loved the fridge stock service and glorious outdoor showers! All of our small questions were addressed promptly by the property manager, Kenneth, who provided excellent service. Five stars!!

Costa Rican Paradise

Perfect house and location for pur adults/ couples trip (ages 40-50). The water features throughout the property so very tranquil, and the pool/ view was amazing. Exactly as shown in pictures. The concierge service was extremely helpful in helping w. Transportation, groceries, etc. We had gold carts to get around, and some great restaurants just outside the neighborhood in the Playa Langosta area, as well as toward Tamarindo. Housekeeping and groundskeeper were an added bonus. The only negative is that you cant swim off the beach and it gets very buggy at low tide. But quick walk or cart to town. Highly recommend!!

From start to finish Kenneth and his team were responsive and incredibly helpful arranging activities and transportation. The house provided plenty of privacy and all the amenities one would need. Lots of time was spent in the pool and evenings watching the sunset with a cocktail in hand. The proximity to town made nights out convenient. We look forward to our next visit at Casa Fuente!

Perfect location. The house is tired--needs new furniture, cabinets and paint. The placemats and napkins should be cotton or linen. The staff was excellent--especially Kenneth. The pool needs cleaning and many tiles are missing.

Paradise!

Casa Fuente is a remarkable house in a fabulous location! The property management company tended to our needs exceptionally well! Mauricio was amazing and took care of the grounds and pool and was kind, friendly, professional and a very hard worker. Estefani worked equally as hard inside the house and was very sweet and dedicated to making sure everything was clean. Desiree Brassert was our chef and made phenomenal meals and snacks and became part of our family! We rented a golf cart which was a great way to get around and go into town and to Tamarindo Beach. Langosta Beach, which is right below the house, is rocky and therefore not swimmable which I think is important to know. We felt safe wherever we went and fell in love with the people of Costa Rica. This was a dream vacation for our family and we hope to return in the future!

Slice of ocean front Heaven in Tamarindo!

Beautiful property.. steps away from the beach / short walk to restaurants / beach club etc. Only thing I would note is for families w/ kids.. the secondary bedrooms are set apart from the master and there is a 4 foot elevated path to get to them with no rails and water on both sides. Gorgeous! But not ideal for families with kids or handicap folks. Need to update the Internet photos to show this new water feature where it seems like the photos now just show a lot of greenery. Otherwise… Loved it, and the staff were all wonderful and very responsive and accommodating in making sure that our family had a wonderful vacation in Tamarindo! Exceptional service😁

Beautiful House

We loved our stay at Casa Fuente. The house is beautiful and the location is amazing. We had one big issue with the house and one small issue. The big issue was that the freezer didn't freeze food. This created a problem because we bought bags of ice and ice cream. The ice cream turned to soup within a couple of hours and we had to go out and buy ice every other day. We complained several times about it, but it was not fixed. The other issue was small. The fan in the bedroom with queen beds didn't work. We suggest that check in information is sent the day before the date of arrival so visitors have it when they arrive at the house. We were unable to enter the house when we arrived. Our driver had to call to get the code for us because What's App did not work until we connected to the WIFI. Despite these issues, we highly recommend this house!!

Spectacular location and spectacular experience

The pictures can’t do the sunsets justice. Truly feels like a dream to get to sit in the pool or in the waves watching some of the most beautiful sunsets in the world. A great short walk along the beach into town for breakfast and a golf cart ride into town for dinner. Lots of privacy for each suite. Hope we are lucky enough to get to go back someday.

Unbelievable view

The house is uniquely designed, immaculately clean and well stocked. As others have stated the view from the back deck is unbelievable. We spent hours each day there and never got tired of it. We also loved the pool, the largest of any house we have ever rented. Access to both the beach behind the house and Tamarindo was easy. The management company was attentive/proactive and we absolutely loved the housekeeper. She was very sweet and went above and beyond to keep things clean. Would definitely stay here again.

Costa Rican Paradise

Views, views, views! You talk about a million dollar view, but with this house it isn't hyperbole. It was truly amazing. The 50 foot walk down the path to the sand created the perfect "sundowner" experience if we didn't want to watch the sunset from the pool, the deck, the house, or basically anywhere. But it wasn't just sunsets, we were lucky enough to catch humpback whales from the deck, locals fishing, and hours upon hours of waves. You rent this house for the view, but that isn't all. We rent houses all over the world. This is one of the best stocked houses we've ever stayed in. We cooked an entire Christmas Dinner with the cooking supplies that were included. Literally, we wanted for nothing. You just don't find that kind of extravagance in a typical rental. The house and the staff were amazing. The location is about seven minutes from town in a gated community. The road in can be a little rough, however, we rented golf carts through the management company and had no real complaints about dust and the free Costa Rican massage. The management company was amazingly attentive. They helped decorate the house for Christmas, they responded to all of our questions promptly. They stopped by our second day in the house to introduce themselves and make sure everything was good. If you don't mind paying a couple of extra bucks, they will literally do everything for you. We like that kind of "ala cart" service and found them to be precisely to our taste. Thank you! We were two families of four traveling together. The house was perfect for a group of our size. Minor issues: The COVID check in process (touchless) was appropriate, but it left us wondering which light switch turned on which light for most of the stay. We also couldn't get the spa hot, but given that it was 90 degrees we didn't really pursue it. I am sure if we asked the staff or the management company would have fixed it immediately. They keep the pool cooler than the kids would have liked, however, for the adults who were in the sun it was just about perfect. But like I said, these are seriously minor issues and partially a casualty of the pandemic. Finally, the youngest child in our group was 10 years old, we would not recommend this location for anybody with kids under 5. The entryway pathway has water on both sides and it would have really stressed us out to if we had toddlers. Rent this house. You won't regret it! We would definitely rent it again!
