âJesse and the management at The Golden Grain Motel are great hosts. The place is clean and comfy as well as being budget friendly which shows each time I stay there with the full carpark, so obviously fully occupied.â
âSpacious and well appointed, wonderful rooms. Really pleasant environment - stayed in a couple of different room types and was impressed with both. Some limitations to breakfast and restaurant times but nothing to change enjoyment of the stays.â
âVery close to the city centre and next to a through road. This also meant quite a bit of noise. Room spot clean but small. E.g. if putting suitcase on the luggage rack, the door could not be opened. Washbasin was combined with mini-pantry (i.e. not in bathroom). Continental breakfast was quite basic and self serve. Although arriving before reception closure, checking in had to be done by phone. Quite unusual! Wi-Fi did not work (and from earlier comments, it has been out of order for a while)....
âI loved staying here, the room was spacious and comfortable and best of all the curtains allow the room to stay dark until opened in the morning. The mattress was very comfortable. The room was clean and tidy, with a good parking space. The motor inn is also close to several restaurant options, which was really good. If it wasnât winter I would have also enjoyed the pool. The staff are really helpful and friendly and made me feel at home. I will be staying here again when I visit Tamworth. You...

Surprisingly even though right a main road it is a nice quiet motel.
Don't let the name 'budget' make you think twice.
