“Because of a water main break in the house we were originally going to rent, Melissa worked with us to instead stay in Casa Madre. Even though not the place we originally planned on, Casa Madre was really quite nice. Lovely shaded front and back porches. We particularly enjoyed our wine and pizza on the back porch. Art galleries and restaurants were located within walking distance. Casa Madre felt quite homey for the 3 of us. We loved the living room and kitchen where we could gather together....

“A comfortable casita with lovely open sky views in the backyard. It is always nice to be in a casita that is homey and quiet, where you can have a long slow coffee in the morning, bring home take-out southwest food to enjoy for dinner, and sit in a hot tub in the evening while admiring the gorgeous sky. The house was well stocked with everything we needed. However there were some areas that needed attention. Dust throughout the house and some bugs and spiders in it. “The property was pet friendly, I am not sure if there was a mountain view from inside the house. Honestly for those wanting to experience an authentic adobe home instead of a new contemporary house this is one of the coolest houses I have ever stayed in. If we could I would have stayed for a couple days. Very comfortable to just hang out in. ”
