“Great room for traveling. Loved the microwave, kettle, and fresh water in the common area. Checked in with my 16 year old son, quick trip to grocery store, then wonderful little restaurant downstairs where the kid discovered he loves fish empanadas, ate on the balcony, ordered more empanadas, met the restaurant staffs husband (a tour guide) and got number so next time we are in San Ignacio we go cave tubing, slept well, then up and out early for adventure. “We stayed in one of the cabanas and it was nice and spacious. The staff was friendly and the restaurant had good food, even if the service for breakfast was a bit slow. It has a really good location next to the Cahal Pech Archeological Reserve, which should not be missed. The hotel is on top pf a pretty steep hill, but the walk from town was not too bad, and you can easily take a taxi if you are not up for the walk. She suggested local restaurant to try and helped us to find a last minute replacement tour early morning as our got cancelled late at night!
