“We had a really great experience at this property. It was just what we wanted for our trip to Florida. It was a good location for the things we wanted to do on our visit. The home was very inviting… we slept comfortably at night in the bed, and the living room was perfect to come home and relax after a long day at the beach! “Unfortunately, our stay was very disappointing due to serious cleanliness, pest, plumbing, and maintenance issues. There was garbage and debris under the beds, and balled-up cellophane tape and crumbs were found in more than one bed. Bugs were also found in the linen closet. Throughout our stay, we saw numerous flying insects that appeared to be termites, and on four separate occasions termites landed on us. “Great location in downtown Palm Harbor. Walking distance to all the restaurants and night hotspots. Very roomy and secluded off the main drag. Parking is very convenient. Air conditioning is epic! “There was some type of issue where I didn’t receive my check in instructions and I had to spend an hour or so trying to find out this information. Everyone at Expedia and VRBO was helpful and once the host was involved, she was as well. I typically receive check-in instructions the day prior or morning of check in by email or text. This was not the case here and unsure why it didn’t happen. Even after I spoke to host, VRBO said the instructions were in my inbox but I could not see them, only...
