“Das Alla Torre del Barbarossa liegt ruhig oberhalb von Mandello del Lario; abseits vom Lago-Como-Tourismus. Die Zimmer sind gepflegt und gut eingerichtet. Das Frühstück ist hausgemacht, unkompliziert und gut. Besonders hervorzuheben ist die Gastfreundschaft von Stefano: aufmerksam ohne aufdringlich zu sein und hilfsbereit bei konkreten Fragen. In 20 Minuten ist man mit dem Auto in Varenna und kann dort per Fähre alle Ortshaften an den Ufern erreichen oder sogar bis Como fahren.”

“We stayed at Cà Rossa for a week. For my wife and I, Cá Rossa was the perfect resort and Claudia and Isaac the best host couple imaginable. The hospitality was unique and we got a lot of recommendations for fantastic walks in Valtellina's vineyards, restaurants, etc. The breakfast, cleaning and the service we experienced was extraordinary. “The hotel view was amazing, probably one of the best in Lecco. The rooms were clean and AC was good. However, there was a lot of rules we didn’t know about, for example we weren’t able to use any glasses or things from the kitchen, and the pool was only open between 10-12 and 16-20. Also, the hotel was very far up and the bus didn’t go that often, so the hotel is probably more suitable if you have a car.”

“sehr schönes altes Haus in einem kleinen Stadtteil von Mandello del Lario etwa 1 km vom Zentrum entfernt auf der Höhe. Die Unterkunft ist sehr geschmackvoll eingerichtet, es gibt einen Aufenthaltsraum, die angeschlossene Gastwirtschaft bietet ein ausgezeichnetes Abendessen. Die Angestellten sind allesamt überaus nett und zuvorkommend. Lediglich der steile Weg hinunter ins Stadtzentrum bzw. zum See ist für Fußgänger wenig geeignet - man muss streckenweise an der Straße entlang laufen.”

“Sehr schlecht erreichbar, über Serpentinen und ntinen in die Berge, bräuchte morgens zum Flughafen 1 Stunde 25 Minuten, Stau, Stop en Go ohne Ende . Die Aussicht aus dem Fenster gegen eine Betonwand um den Berg ab zu stützen war wirklich das letzte, die Zimmer an der Vorderseite haben sicherlich eine tolle Aussicht, dort wohnen Sie auch selbst ”
