  • Welcome to our light, modern, comfortable home with an outdoor seating area and fully fenced backyard. All the modern conveniences are here and such a great location to both beaches - surf and harbour, shops, golf courses, hot pools, cafes and restaurants. This is the perfect location for a family holiday - summer or escaping winter.
    The beautiful sandy beach of Mount Maunganui is a 5 minute stroll away. Check out the famous surf, enjoy a relaxing beach walk, walk around and/or up the Mount (Mauao) or explore the shops, cafes and bars.
    The sports ground "Blake Park" is located at the end of the street, so very close if you have sports events in the area. So, our beach house is waiting for you to make memories at.

Fabulous stay in Mount Maunugui

We loved staying in this beautiful holiday home as part of our NZ tour. The property was clean, very comfortable beds and very well equipped.

Perfect place for our stay

We enjoyed our stay here while working in Tauranga, the hosts are very easy to deal with and communicate very well. Would highly recommend staying here in the future.

Great stay! The house was very comfortable and well equipped, and the location was excellent. It was very kid-friendly, which made our stay even better. We loved the short strolls to the beach and how complete the house was, everything we needed was there. Communication with the owners was excellent throughout our stay. We would happily return!

Helen and Bryan were very welcoming and their property is immaculately presented. Everything was clean and in really good condition, with some great little touches such as beach gear (and a wagon to transport it!), plus a bar of “check-in chocolate”. This is truly a great spot for a family stay close to the lovely Mount Maunganui beach.

What an absolutely wonderful place to stay! From the moment we arrived, we felt completely at home. The property was spotlessly clean, the kitchen beautifully well-stocked with everything you could need, and the beds comfortable for a perfect night's sleep.The location couldn't be better — just a leisurely 6-minute walk to the most beautiful beach and a fantastic coffee shop, with town and shops all close by.But what truly made this stay so special were the hosts. Warm, caring, and so easy to communicate with — they went above and beyond to make us feel welcome and looked after.We will absolutely be coming back. Highly, highly recommended!

If you are looking for a property that is homely and comfortable with great communications from the owner and plenty lots of the convenience of home items, this is the perfect place. We felt super comfortable here and slept well in quiet location with comfy beds.

We loved our stay at the Tay St Beach House. It is close to the beach, and walking distance to the Mount for shopping and restaurants. We loved the Alpino restaurant. The home is very comfortable, great kitchen, excellent beds and all the amenities that we desire. Helen is a great host. I would highly recommend staying here. We will be back.
