Just a quick 5-minute drive away, you'll find Countdown or New World supermarkets for any additional needs. The inviting lounge area features a smart TV, perfect for logging into your Netflix account and relaxing. A large ranch slider opens onto a patio, complete with an outdoor table and lounge chairs, ideal for soaking up the sun throughout the day. The stylish bathroom offers a refreshing shower, and a separate toilet provides added convenience. The two queen bedrooms each feature brand new, comfortable beds and luxury linens and towels. At the end of the peninsula the iconic Mauao stands elegantly at 230 meters tall. Everyone has the option of taking a leisurely stroll around the flat base. The more adventurous will have fun reaching the top and be rewarded with the spectacular 360-degree views.
Downtown Mount you’ll find a laid-back strip of shops, bars & restaurants that offer all day dining most with alfresco tables…….Pick up a treat or souvenir from one of the locally owned boutiques, enjoy an ice cream or coffee, browse one of the weekly markets or soak yourself in one of the salt water hot pools or treat yourself to a papering session at one of the spas.
Pilot Bay offers sheltered year-round swimming and kayaking. Picnic on the grassy shore & watch the fishermen launch their boats and cargo ships come and go.
Head to main beach where new surfers can grab a lesson and watch the more experienced catch a wave or two. If the wind is up the kite surfers will be out in force. Or just chill and enjoy a refreshing swim.
