The home is very clean, and well supplied. We particularly appreciated the coffee supplies, washer and dryer and being allowed to bring our greyhounds. “This home was very well appointed and located very close to town, right on the Au Sable river! We stayed here spring break/Easter weekend to do some fishing and get away and the best part of the trip was definitely this house. The weather didn't cooperate to allow our littles to get outside much (2 and 6 yo), but the home was cozy, stocked with board games, cards and puzzles, and smart TVs in both bedrooms and the living room. We had absolutely no issues other than what I mentioned and taht wasn't really an sisue just an oops, overall our spur of the moment weekend getaway was great dispite the rain when driving there. “Perfect place to stay if you're looking for peace and quiet. Our cottage was right on the beach and we were the only ones there with another couple a couple doors down. The cottage was the perfect size and judt as described. The bed was so comfortable, a rare find when vacationing. The beach and water were perfect with lots of other things to do within a reasonable distance. We will definitely be making future trips up to discover more of the area.”

“Home was very nice. However, sheets were not on beds when we arrived and we had to strip beds, vacuum and clean the house before we left as per check out instructions. This should be done by home owners not guests. Otherwise, great place to stay.”

“Was not lighted very well. Was hard to find which cabin was yours. Wasnt told beforehand that a regular car would probably get stuck. Good thing we had a 4 wheel drive truck. Was a beautiful cabin. Have rented many cabins and houses over the years and have never had one that did not supply extra garbage bags, toilet paper, paper towels. Even though i always clean up after renting i have never been told i had to vacuum, sweep and wipe down sinks, etc.”

“I was looking for somewhere that could accommodate my elderly parents and found this lovely place in Tawas City. There are some steps but certainly much more mobile friendly for my parents than many of the waterfront homes I was seeing available. The home is beautifully appointed and honestly the views, the views, the views!!! Frank & Jennifer are amazing and very responsive to inquiries/questions. Sadly, my sister and I realized that this would probably be the last trip we will be able to take...
