“A very warm and welcoming house. The sound of the rippling waters was wonderful to sit and listen and watch. Also being able to walk and catch a trout! The house was clean and well presented, everything you want for a comfortable stay and we were very cosy. The bed was very comfortable with quality linen. Our two labs loved the river and the property as well and we hope to come back again.”

“2 families stayed here over the Australia Day long weekend. As displayed in the photos, the house is quite run down on the outside and in some parts in the inside but none of this affected our stay. Everything that mattered was great. Very clean, great working bathroom and kitchen, easy access BBQ, enough driveway parking for 2 x cars, 1 x boat and 1 x jetski, shops walking distance, the lake only a short drive. Thanks for having us!”

“We had a lovely stay at Hanna’s (“Cooinda”)place. The home is set up beautifully for a getaway. The games room, the furniture and the lovely linen are just the obvious things. The bird seed (and wild friendly birds) and lots of open space with great views and excellent location all add to make it a wonderful place to enjoy a holiday. The kids had a great time with lots of outdoor space to play. We were all very comfortable during both hot and cool weather and we all had a really enjoyable stay.”

“Our family weekend away was so nice at Loyola Lakehouse. The property and grounds were looked after very well. The property is well appointed, luxury and space! The process was easy from start to finish and only being a short drive into town made it easy to get supplies and enjoy some of Mansfield town. Would happily go back in a heartbeat!”

“Although there were some building works the house was complete with everything that you would need for 2 families to stay. The bedrooms were neat and comfortable and the kitchen was well stocked with everything you need to cook up a storm. Nice quite location thats in walking distance to the town.”

“Stayed over the Anzac Day weekend with extended family including older (70s) and kids (8-12 year olds). All able to find something fun to do. Dad caught a carp. We collected wood for an outside fire and toasted marshmallows. Also hired kayaks from the Jameison Caravan Park with pick up at the Jameison Brewery. House was well equipped for cooking and the gorgeous kitchen bench was where we ended up eating most for meals. Would have used the outside dining table if it was warmer! The wood fire...

“We loved it from the moment we saw the beautiful stonewalled fence and the facade. The home is just divine - beautifully decorated - very cosy - the fire warms the lounge room and heaters in every room. Bedrooms very comfortable. Kitchen is fabulous and large with everything you need plus big fridge - great oven and bench space plus a pantry and prep area! Gorgeous garden and walking distance to shopping strip - we didn’t need to use the car. Highly recommend it and we will be back and...

“Great location for water access and heaps of room around the house for cars and trailers. Very walk to the Pub for a meal or drink and lovely area downstairs for relaxing at night. Can be a bit noisy on busy weekend due to proximity to pub but very manageable.”

“The house is great for large groups - we were a group of two extended families and the property was perfect for the kids to run around. The house itself could have been cleaner and we were disappointed by the small number of utensils provided - there should be at least enough forks and knives for the number of guests staying (I think we had 12 forks total for our group of 14 and there are a total of about 17 beds). Also the pots and pans were all almost unusable - the non stick coating was grimy...
