“This was our first visit to the West Highlands and we were not disappointed. A beautifully maintained resort within a spectacular setting. We had planned to visit the islands during the week but found so much to do locally we decided to save the islands for a future visit. “We really enjoyed our stay. Workers were wonderful, food was fantastic at the restaurant, hot tub was great and private, house was spacious and great layout. The only complaint was the beds were hard.”

“Melfort Village is terrific. Beautiful setting and marvellous accommodation. There is a pool, tennis court, putting green, restaurant /bar (great food)and lots of space. The staff are great, enthusiastic and helpful.Walks in the nearby hills or to the lochs. The Village is well placed for access to the magnificent nearby scenery (but do not follow the receptionist recommendation as to how to get to the falls - the road is a nightmare and there is a longer but better way!). “Loved staying here! I don't think there could possibly be a more beautiful view from the hot tub and living room. The space is compact, but well laid out, comfortably furnished, and had all we needed. Great trails nearby too. Thanks and would gladly stay here again!”

“The setting is idyllic in lovely peaceful surroundings, nature all around. The cottage is large, airy and bright and everything you could need was provided. Although quite a distance from Oban, the main road was pretty quiet and a pleasant drive. The pool was an added bonus, but the sauna wasn't working. We were there on the hottest weekend of the year, so didn't need the sauna.”
