“Really well equipped house with beautiful surroundings. After clear instructions of how to arrive and check in we felt warmly welcomed with fresh flowers and some chocolates from Oban. Plenty of lovely walks nearby, but the house was also a great place to use as a base to explore wider, from a trip to Oban (picking up more chocolates!) to a walk up Ben Cruachan. We’d love to stay again and continue to explore. Huge thanks to Fiona and Andy for being such great hosts!!”

“We had a great time staying here and can wholeheartedly recommend it! The pictures do not do this place justice, the views are amazing and the house is cozy and has a warm and loving feeling. We stayed here for six days and our only regret is not staying longer. David is also a great host who answered our questions immediately and we felt well taken care of both before and during our stay. We will definitely want to come back at some point!”

“The lodge was perfect for an outdoor family like us with dogs. Location is quite remote but that's what we like. We'd advise going stocked up with food and drink before going. there is a pub within walking distance with pub food and a great pool table. Meals were after 6pm. “We had a great time in this beautifully decorated home away from home! It was a joy to return to after a day of walking, it has lots of cosy spaces to relax, with great views! Great rainshower, very well equipped kitchen and comfortable good size bedrooms. Everything very fresh and clean. “Thank you for a wonderful holiday! Everything was great, the house was stunning, it was just amazing. Our best time away together yet, quality time together in the perfect place. “I booked Morelaggan House for my family and friends to get away for a few days during the school holidays. The house has amazing views over Loch Long and set in a quiet area about 5 minutes drive into Arrochar. The kids loved the toy room and running around, while the adults mainly used the kitchen/dining area. There’s a large projector screen and access to Netflix, Apple TV etc. and a piano too. “Tucked away at the top of the village this little cottage was comfortable and had a very well equipped kitchen. The pictures don't do it justice, it's great place. A lovely walk to Kilmartin (20 minutes if you find an overgrown shortcut through the back wood). My top tip, take birdseed for the feeders and breakfast becomes a fantastic show of local birdlife.”

The accommodation is dated and cramped with little amenities especially in the kitchen-broken utensils etc. Feel the price warrants a little bit of a higher standard. Restaurant on main hotel serves great seafood. Just don’t expect the lodge accommodation to match the outdoor facilities!”

“This is an excellent house in a beautiful area. We had 15 guests ranging from 4 to 79 - the accommodation was perfect for all of our needs…it was warm, clean and comfortable. The hot tub was a particular highlight. Gillian was approachable and helpful if needed. We would not hesitate to recommend this property and the area.”

“Had an amazing stay here. Highly recommend. You won’t be disappointed! Super clean, well equipped and very spacious. Host was very attentive and responsive to queries. The only thing I’d say (which isn’t even a negative) but didn’t impact negatively on our stay would be having it more secure to allow dogs to go out slide door within living room area to the back without worrying they’d wander off. Will definitely return. We had an amazing Christmas here and made wonderful memories.”

“Our family of 12 liked the layout of this home and the decor was lovely. The beds are comfortable. We enjoyed the use of the hot tub as well. The home has some damage to the doors and walls, wear and tear and perhaps some of it due to remodeling upgrades. The home is lovely and met our needs for an enjoyable stay.”

"Smutsigt, nedgånget, dåliga sängar, luktade illa. Skrik och liv på natten. Ville inte använda duschen. Kändes som vi skulle bli smutsigare efteråt. Toaletten spolade inte heller."
