“The flat was clean and well stocked. Easy to walk to shops and restaurants. It is on the second floor with bedrooms one more flight up - something to consider if you have any mobility issues. The king bed mattress and couch cushions are in need of replacement, but do not diminish the overall quality of the property.”

“The location makes this property worth it, tucked in the alleyway in the middle of everything. Walkable to everything the town of Telluride and Mountain Village have to offer. Downside is that you will hear people walking around upstairs. You will be surrounded by dumpsters used by the local shops and restaurants. There is no view and no storage for clothes. Having said that, it was great for a couple and dog who spent most of their time outdoors.”

“This rental is the perfect location, we walked everywhere or took the Town bus that has a stop nearby. The driver will drop you at corner nearest the rental if you ask! The space was extremely clean and had everything we needed… fluffy towels, pillows of all sorts, lots of blanket options, tv, and a kitchen. We didn’t cook while we were there but it was great having the fridge for beverages and the option to cook if we had wanted. The grocery store is right across the street so it was...

“Wonderful stay in a great location. Property was clean and well stocked. Cute decor made it feel even more welcoming. Appreciated the beers in the fridge to take to the hot tub after a long ski day. Great communication from the owner before our arrival. Easy parking spot right outside our door.”

“Very cozy suite that had mostly everything you could want from bathroom items and kitchen supplies. Located just a few minutes from Telluride, rarely had to use the car because I could walk everywhere. Only issue I had was the parking pass which was located in a welcome binder. However instead of being a hanging tag it was a print out copy that was kind of faded and hard to read. Other than the small issue, enjoyed my stay and would definitely recommend for others.”

“I stayed 6 nights. Units had a ski locker with a combination lock in the mud room. Vacasa could not tell whether I'm allowed to use it. Unit was entitled to free Dial a Ride. Vacasa could not give me the code. In general, communication with Vacasa was by far the poorest experience I have had with a VRBO property manager. On the positive side, the property location is perfect. Its a 3 minute walk from chair 4 and the gongola, and closer to many Mountain Village restaurants, coffee, retail stores...

A little older property, but everything you need such as restaurants, popular bars, grocery store, shopping, ski rentals, location to the gondola and most importantly coffee is within a block or two—really can’t beat the location. The staff was always available and accommodating and the cleaning service was top notch! The only issue we had was the continuous plugging of the toilets and broken bathtub water faucet handle. “I was overall happy with my stay at the Fairmont FKL, with one very important exception (listed under cons below). Pros: Close to the gondola, has a nice spa and decent gym. Mostly friendly staff. Spacious rooms. Okay level of cleanliness. Cons: Rooms do NOT look like they do in the hotel photos, they are dated and in need of a renovation.
