“A change of plans took me to Hexham and the Beaumont hotel for what was to be a very pleasant experience. Arrived two hours early and was only looking to store my bagage as I fully expected to be asked to wait until regular check-in was open. Instead the hotel went the extra mile and had my room ready in a bit more than half an hour. “A beautiful cottage in a secluded area with lovely views of surrounding hills and forest. The photos dont do it justice, it is much bigger in reality. It is very well equipped, and beds very comfortable with spotless linen. Even in cold weather, the cottage has more than enough radiators and a very efficient log burner to keep you warm.
