Pensionat i Texada Island

“The ad/discription of this hotel was very different than the reality of it. They did not have the water slide open even though we came at the end of June and said that it wasn't going to be open until July. No where did it state that and I had two little kids with me. It also says they have a swimming pool, which I was informed once i got there is actually a pond that has apparently been closed for the last 5 years. I feel like what was advertised was very misleading and did not paint a honest...

“Great location, clean bright nicely decorated room. Nespresso machine in the room was great. My only regret was not booking an ocean view room.”

“The place is clean, quiet, and friendly. And yes, it is on the beach. However, the facility is basic and overpriced. It was like being in a barracks in the middle of a gravel parking lot.”

“Beautiful house on Sprout lake, less than 1 min to the waters edge. The place was spotless, had all the nice little touches, and the only thing we needed to bring was our food. Owner was very pleasant and helpful. Highly recommend this hidden gem as a romantic get away.”

“The view was of the parking lot - not ocean. Location is nice for a walk. Bathroom extremely tiny. Little to no decoration. Strange television setup - few normal channels. The bed was Really quite comfortable but not worth the price. Should be a $150 - $200 room at most. ”

“Simi working in reception went above and beyond to accommodate us. She was very friendly and helpful. The location was lovely. Sunrise and sunsets were beautiful. The room was very nice. The bed was comfortable and had all amenities required. Everything was very clean. Parking was onsite and free. The property was on the seafront, opposite a pub and restaurant. We will be visiting again for sure!”

“Room was clean and recently updated. Staff was friendly and helpful. Breakfast was not very good with the same exact breakfast options each day. The pool was fine and the hot tub was tiny and out of order when we wanted to use it.”
