“The hotel is lovely. It faces the iconic Kyle field and allows you to take in the campus scenery. Restaurants are well staffed and offer delicious options. Each room comes with ear plugs to help drown out the train after hours. But don’t be a grump- read about the amazing reason why the train horn is a part of the cities vibrant history. The ear plugs really do help cut the noise.”

“Loved this hotel. The staff was super welcoming and helpful. We stayed for 5 nights. The restaurant and room service was great. The pool was really nice but I would have loved to have lounge bed cushions. The don’t have any so I had to grab some from an outdoor chair so I could lay out by the pool. My back could not stand the hard wooden lounge bed. The room was clean and had everything we needed. I also appreciated the EV chargers in the parking lot. I would book this again.”

“The hotel was undergoing renovation. Wish we were informed well in advance about that so we could better plan our stay. We only found out when we reached there. The hotel was stinking near the entrance. The rooms were old and had dust on lighting fixtures. No hot water in the bathroom sink faucets. Shower didn’t have consistent water flow. Breakfast was alright, not bad. I have definitely stayed at better Hampton Inns, this was disappointing. Glad my stay was only for a night.”

“Staff was great on the check in process. There was an issue with my payment through xpedia but they took care of everything. Really appreciate it.”

“Hotel needs a make over, I mean a real make over, rooms smell bad, sofa bed had stains.”

“Not recommended for families but only cause it’s an older property. Doesn’t really offer anything for families. If you are traveling alone and just need 1 maybe 2 nights and are looking for a cheap place it’s ok. Conveniently located. It’s half hotel half “long term stays” so there’s that. I felt like I traveled back to the 70s. That said everyone was very nice .”

“The room was spacious, comfortable and clean on arrival. However, it was not cleaned every day, but this was not a problem and adds to the sustainability of the stay. But i would ahve appreciated if the teaand coffe that was avaiablein the room on arrival would have been replenished as is I ran out during the first day of my stay. ”

“Spacious rooms, plenty of space for five. We had no shampoo the first day and only three towels for five people. There were no linens for the pull out couch. Had to ask for shampoo, towels and bedding for the couch, but the staff supplied them right away.”

“We had a nice last-minute stay and enjoyed the pool and also playing pool. We had a great night sleep in the quiet hotel and would stay here again.”
