“This is a road side motel located off the service road of 45. Facilities are in need of MAJOR repairs. Floors are filthy in the room, rust on everything metal, holes in the walls, peeling bathtubs.. The air conditioner rattled all night and the train runs directly behind the hotel, so there’s that to listen to early in the mornings. Very disappointed for the price I paid. “Our family was taking a cruise out of Galveston and this property is literally two blocks away from the cruise terminal so it was great to spend the previous night in old town Galveston very nice and then the next morning we just walked to our terminal for the cruise line, everyone was very helpful. Very nice. The rooms were great. The breakfast was incredible. Highly recommend recommended.”

“On the one hand, I feel bad, as this property is maintained by what seems to be a small family of perhaps three people. On the other hand, the quality of the property is seriously questionable. The property is older and has been poorly maintained. The television in the room didn't work. The air conditioner leaked all over the floor overnight with condensation. When checking out, I tried to locate a member of staff to alert them to the AC issue, but no one was around, even when I rang the bell...

“Breakfast and social hour was great experiences. We met so many fun couples during our stay. Room was fantastic with a comfortable bed. We stayed in the only room on first floor. Only down side was creaking stairs outside room when other guests were coming down for breakfast.”

“We arrived at the hotel and was told it was canceled. We didn't receive an email or any notification of the cancelation. We had nowhere else to go. They scrambled to find us a room but the only room available didn't have AC. It's the middle of summer in Texas. They did give us a discount on the room with no AC but it smelled like mold & stuff & extremely hot.”
