Gårdshotell i The Catlins

“A good basic 2 bedroom apartment, well-appointed, with a great view of the bay and direct access to beach (easier going down than returning). However, there are no windows that open (apart from bathroom, not sure about a window above the bed). No source of outside air. We slept poorly because of this. The room became stuffy (and this in the spring, admittedly a warm day). The only ventilation is from the doors, although leaning them open would challenge security and expose the flat to insects...

“Very lovely holiday cottage, with wonderful views. Unfortunately, it was very cold in the flat and it took as quite some time to find out to get the heating going as there was something wrong.”

“Wonderful rural house, will book again definitely!!!”

“Sälar och sjölejon 100 meter bort. Egen strand. Bra utrustade stugor. Det kommer bli ett första val när vi kommer tillbaka till Catlins.”

“Ray was an absolute legend of a host. Kind and thoughtful. The space has everything you need. Please read the full description as it does have a unique layout. Also note that there is no spa pool/jet tub as mentioned by some of the listing companies!”

“Needs better signage heading to the property specially after sunset”

“Loved it managed well very peaceful stay just what we needed after Christmas ”

Beautifully presented and high level of cleanliness. Take extra kitchen bags etc for your rubbish if your eating in. 2 ring cooker and very small...

“The staff was extremely helpful. Rooms were very clean. It help having night and day shop next door to motel.”

“Läget, längs NZ riksvägen och närheten till ett välkänt fiskevatten, var enkelt att hitta och ta sig in i. Välstädat, rent, välmöblerat och modernt. Levde helt upp till presentationen i förmedlingen. Värden var lyhörd och hjälpsam. Rekommenderas.”

“I booked the apartment room for my builders to stay in for 2 nights. They said the rooms were clean and comfortable, having a kitchen was important because I had set the builders up with their breakfast foods and they were sent back each night with their evening meal to heat up. Eion and Bev had the room warm for them on arrival on their first night and gave quality banter throughout their stay. Greatly appreciated their time in getting them settled in, happily book with them again in the...
