“Cool place”

“Unplug and reset!! We stayed in the stargazer tent and it as very cool! The location/view was fantastic. The tents were so clean and well kept. The whole site was quiet during sleeping hours which we really appreciated. The staff was very nice and check-in/out was a breeze. Anything we needed the staff was able to provide quickly and even did so without asking for things we didn't notice. Food from the restaurant was nice, cleaner eating and very welcomed after eating on the road/fast food prior...

“I really liked the room and the cafe food was tasty. Negatives were the jackhammer noises from across the street and I couldn’t give the room cleanliness 5 stars because the floor was dirty.”

“This motel was in outstanding condition. We were running very late and the owner immediately answered his phone and processed our check-in quickly by phone .”

“We had a cabin with a kitchenette so each night we made a simple stove top dinner and it was great. Plenty of room for all 5 of us and I loved sitting on the little porch.”

“Canyon Lake Resort is rather old, but well taken care of. Clean and comfortable I've visited quite a few dodgy hotels around the US where ones have let the interiors deteriorate, this was certainly not the case here even though some of the furniture could do with an upgrade. The rice was rather steep for our visit, in July 2018, but other hotels in the area were even more expensive.”

“Fresh baked complimentary cookies when we arrived! Food at the pub was great and reasonably priced. Quiet location with a beautiful view.”
