“We chose to stay because we had family nearby, not for hunting or fishing purposes. The room was really clean, well stocked with dishes and linens, shampoo etc. we had a view of the lake, even though it’s a short distance away. Nice boat landing area too. Would definitely recommend!”

“This is an interesting overnight. The outside of the hotel is not clean and welcoming. We had no instructions on getting in, and when we arrived, called a number on the door but never did get a phone call, only a text. There was a rather creepy man standing in the only other occupied room and before I got my text to open the door, he had it opened!? It is a man cave, one window, rather dark, poorly lit, had I known, we would have driven to Mitchell.”

Wendi is great at communication and the lodge allows dogs inside as long as they’re kenneled. I will definitely be booking again ”
