“Cute,nice and cozy. To many wasp and bees something needs to be done to get rid of them. Also would be nice to have a fire pit outside the caboose. Besides that had a great time.”

“The cottage has been recently updated. The interior looks brand new. The electric fireplace was very nice. I didn't have time to explore the property, because I was there mostly at night. I would definitely stay there again. Cell service isn't great, but it is great if you want to get away from, the stresses from everyday life. Bring an extra blanket if you are there when it is cold outside.”

“Cutest little cabin, it was perfect for what it was booked for! We just went out to hocking hills for the weekend, and it was perfectly placed on our route to and from home. The brown and black dog welcomed us warmly and we enjoyed getting to pet them for awhile! We also met a cute black and orange kitty :)”

“The communication with property owner wasn’t great. I got to the property and he never sent me a code to unlock the door. I had to drive over an half-hour away to get cellphone service to message the owner for the code. Place is as pictured but there were flying lady bugs all over.”

Found the cottage exactly as it appears online and it was perfect for us! Check in information is important to review before you get there as service is spotty out there but is provided well in advance to get you in smoothly. “It was ok. I've stayed in better and worse. 1. The hot tub didn't work the 2nd day and we were just too tired to call or deal with it 2. It was buggy- 3. There a mouse problem. I saw other people have brought it up so either it hasn't been dealt with or it's an ongoing problem. Mice don't bother me but there were dropping on the stove and counters. I wouldn't make food there. It was cute, we liked the decor and the quaintness”

When we weren’t out hiking in the park, we enjoyed paddling around the pond in the little kayak, lounging in the hot tub, and dining on the deck overlooking a lovely back yard. The common living space was pleasantly laid out with plenty of room for sitting or indoor activities.
