“On arrival I was a bit unsure and opening up the shed was difficult for me as the door is very stiff! Charles did ask if I needed help which I declined, definitely say yes! “Enjoyed staying in this old cottage and would have appreciated more information about it (such as when it was built, how much it has changed over the years, what woods were used on the floor and walls, etc.). “This isn’t the first time that we have stayed here. The first time was why we came back as the room we were in was comfortable enough. This time around the room itself was fine but the bed wasn’t very comfortable as the padding on the top of the mattress wasn’t evenly distributed and it would appear that the mattress may need to be replaced. The rest of the room was fine and the staff were hospitable.”

“Very good location for quietness & sea views. 4-5 kms from town centre. 2 storeys with about 8 steps that are quite steep. The house has a lot of vintage character, lots of natural light & a good sense of space. However, some parts, although clean, still look a bit shabby. Instructions for entry & any other information were clear & accurate. We enjoyed our 2 night stay mid-March.”

“The apartment was nice and big. But no wifi and the worst hotel breakfast I've ever had. And the pool was dirty and full of bugs when we all went down to swim in it. But at least the bedrooms and kitchen/living room was nice. And the lady we checked in with was very nice and helpful. The kitchen/breakfast lady not so much.”
